Gala

In 1960 in Graytown, New Zealand, a hybrid of the Kidds Orange and Golden Delicious vvarieties was obtained. Small and medium-sized round fruit of a bright yellow base colour covered with red formations on the skin. Very juicy and sweet fruit, ideal for direct consumption.

Golden Delicious

A variation accidentaly discovered in 1890 in the USA, sold under this name since 1914. Medium and large elongated fruit of yellow and green colour. Very juicy and of sweet taste and an intense aroma.

Idared

In 1935 in the USA the Jonathan and Wagener varieties were crossed. Since 1958 in Poland. Medium and large fruit of a round shape and red-coloured with yellow spots. Pink flesh with a slightly sweet flavour and delicate aroma. Easy to store, even in home conditions.

Jonagold

A hybrid of Golden Delicious and Jonathan produced in the USA since 1968. Big, massive fruit of a yellow and green base colour covered with red and orange spots. Tasty and juicy fruit of a sweet and sour flavour.

Jonagored

Bred in Belgium from Jonagold variety. Medium and large fruit of a round-conical shape and red colour. The flesh is coarse, sweet and sour and very tasty.

Ligol

A variety bred in Poland of conical-spherical shape fruit. The skin is yellow and covered with a bright red blush on the sunny side of the fruit. Creamy and juicy flesh.

Champion

Apples of Czech origin of spherical-conical shape. Middle or large fruit covered with bright red fuzzy blush on half of their size. The flesh is delicate and sweet and sour.

Gloster

A German variety of large and very large spherical-conical fruit. The skin is shiny and entirely covered with a fuzzy blush. Light greenish flesh with a very distinctive aroma and sourish taste. Very juicy.

Delcorf

A variety of German origin with large elongated fruit almost 100% covered with a blush. The flesh is juicy, crisp and very delicious.
